Anthony Cudahy: Spinneret is the first comprehensive monograph on contemporary figurative painter Anthony Cudahy. It coincides with the artist’s inaugural solo exhibition in the United States, on view April 12 to July 21 at OMAA.  The 264-page hardback catalogue provides a comprehensive exploration of his richly layered artistic practice, offering readers a deep dive into the intricacies of his creative evolution. Anthony Cudahy: Spinneret, published by Monacelli Press, features essays by Devon Zimmerman, OMAA’s Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art; Maria H. Loh, Professor in Art History at CUNY Hunter College; and Ricardo Monetz, Associate Professor of Performance Studies at The New School as well as reflections on Cudahy’s work by Anna Glantz, Ian Lewandowski, Billy Sullivan, Lily Wong, Philomena Williamson, Justin Liam O’Brien, Paul Legault, Elizabeth Glaessner, and John Belknap.
