An update about the museum and its response to the spread of COVID-19: We, like cultural institutions everywhere, are deeply concerned about the safety of our visitors and staff, and deeply committed to slowing the transmission of the disease. Effective immediately, the Ogunquit Museum of American Art will be closed to onsite activities, with a work-from-home plan implemented for staff. Our season opening will be postponed from May 1 to May 31st, with possible extensions subject to review. The work of preparing an innovative and compelling season of shows goes on—from the roses of Kathleen Speranza to the animatronic foxes of Andy Rosen, among others. It will be a season to look forward to. Thanks so much for standing with us in these complicated times. As always, your encouragement and support are truly welcome.
