Totally Tuesday Talks

Join us for one of our 2022 Totally Tuesday Talks, conversations with fascinating artists, curators and others who provide further insight into our exhibitions, the Ogunquit art colony and more. Talks will be held in person, for the time being.


• June 28 (5pm–7pm): Philip Koch 

Artist talk with Philip Koch with assistant curator Theresa Choi. Related to the exhibition Philip Koch: Isle of Dreams


• July 5th (5pm–7pm): Jim Morin   

Artist talk with Jim Morin and guest curator Martha Kennedy. Related to the exhibition Jim Morin: Drawing and Painting


• July 12 (5pm–7pm): Lois Dodd & Josephine Halvorson: 

Join artists Lois Dodd and Josephine Halvorson in conversation. Related to the exhibition Josephine Halvorson: On the Ground


• July 19 (5pm–7pm): Windows to the Future

Architect Scott Simons and executive director Amanda Lahikainen discuss the new window and OMAA’s needs for the future, followed by community feedback session.


• July 26 (5pm–7pm): Robert Laurent Panel

Panel discussion with artist Tom Glover, a student of John Laurent,and leading scholar of Robert Laurent, Andrew Eschelbacher, moderated by collections manager, Andy Ritzo. Related to the exhibition Robert Laurent: Open Studio


• August 2 (5pm–7pm):  John Walker

Artist talk with John Walker and guest curator Katherine French. Related to the exhibition John Walker: From Low Tide to High Tide


• August 9 (5pm–7pm): Saving Art in a Time of War with Oleksandra Kovalchuk

Join Oleksandra Kovalchuk, Acting Director of the Fine Arts Museum in Odessa, Ukraine, for a lecture and discussion about art museums and community. She will give an overview of Ukrainian cultural institutions in times of peace, war, and in history. Learn about the importance of all museums and international collaboration.
