Title I School Bus FundingÂ
The Ogunquit Museum of American Art is delighted to provide subsidized bus funding for Title I schools. This funding is available on a first-come, first-served basis until it runs out, so we encourage teachers to plan ahead and schedule early, as spots fill up quickly. Kindly note that the Museum is open seasonally from April to November.
eligibility
We welcome Title I schools in Maine and New Hampshire to request funding for school bus transportation to the Museum. To confirm funding, you must contact the Education & Community Outreach Fellow by phone or email to secure your spot. After your visit to the Museum, please submit an invoice for the transportation costs to be reimbursed via check. Detailed instructions for submitting the invoice will be provided upon confirmation of your funding request.

Please reach out to Sophie Cordery at scordery@nullogunquitmuseum.org or (207) 646-4909 to schedule your visit.
Scheduling
Tours and visits to the Museum are available Monday through Friday, between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM. OMAA is a seasonal museum, open from April to November. For opportunities to engage during the off-season, please reach out to inquire about classroom visits.
Programming
In addition to subsidized travel, we also offer and encourage pre-visit classroom sessions. An education representative will guide students through close-looking exercises, share museum best practices, and help prepare meaningful conversations for the upcoming visit. When scheduling your museum visit, please let us know if you’d like to include a classroom session!
The School Bus Transportation Fund is generously supported by the Rickert Family Charitable Fund and the Morton-Kelly Charitable Trust.
