BECOME A DOCENT AT OMAA
The Ogunquit Museum of American Art’s docent program continues to grow and enrich visitors’ museum experience. Docents are trained to guide our visitors through the museum’s exhibitions and collections, and to share the story of the Ogunquit Art Community and the founding of the museum.
Docents receive a rich training program and are encouraged to undertake independent research on artists that can be shared with others. They also benefit from OMAA-sponsored trips to museums and galleries around New England to heighten their knowledge and awareness of the dynamics of the art scene in our region.
We invite you to learn more about becoming an OMAA docent. For more information, please contact our Education and Community Outreach Fellow Sophie Cordery at scordery@nullogunquitmuseum.org.
