The Education Department at the Ogunquit Museum of American Art is dedicated to engaging audiences of all ages in the exploration of modern and contemporary American art. In the spirit of the Museum’s connection to two important 20th-century artist schools, the Education Department prioritizes a place-based learning strategy that draws on the Museum's rich history, collection, and exhibitions, with the goal of fostering creative inquiry. Our programs, classes, talks, and tours are designed to deepen understanding of regional histories within national frameworks.
